Alicia + Adam

 

Alicia and Adam chose to do their engagement photos at James Street Bookseller & Gallery in Hamilton. This bookstore was perfect for their engagement photos because Alicia and Adam, much like Marcello and I, love historic architecture. Lucky for us in hamilton we found a bookstore that: housed all their favourite books they grew up reading, subjects that they fell in love with over and over again, and music history books that may have reminded them of their second date at Toronto Jazz Fest!

We like using sessions as a way of getting to know couples, and we very quickly learned that Alicia and Adam are very relaxed and comfortable around each other, which made photographing them that much easier. 

After hanging out at the bookstore, we went over to Mulberry Street Coffeehouse to celebrate their love for coffee, beer, and of course, each other. Fun fact, when we were taking photos outside with Adam's guitar, he serenaded Alicia with the theme song to Jane the Virgin. If you haven't watched it, you're missing out!
